Intaba Raffle Winners Announced

Hi everyone

First of all apologies from me for this coming so late – I was quite swamped with work on my return from Cape Town, and have had computer problems to boot, so am only now getting all caught up.

Secondly, thanks to everyone for their support of the Intaba project, all of you that bought or sold tickets, and of course all the sponsors, and also sixty40 for advertising the project, Factory7 for selling the tickets online and contributing a portion of their sales to the project, and Fishbone Design Agency (www.fishbone.co.za), who did all the design work and making up of tickets for the project.

In the end, we sold around 150 tickets – not bad considering they were R50 each – obviously if they were R5 each, we would have sold hundreds, but in the end might have made less money. Either way, it was a first time experiment, so we had no way of knowing really what to expect.

I should also just reiterate that nobody is making once cent from the Intaba project – all of it is going to go straight back into bodyboarding and helping to fund a contest – so more on that later.

OK – ticket prize winners were as follows – Jono Mellish was the lucky man of the night as he remembered to bring his lucky horseshoe, rabbit's foot and 4 leaf clover to the draw (it also helped that he bought 20 tickets!)
