Cape Town and Durban Judging Courses

How would you like to earn a little extra pocket money or perhaps improve your game by grasping a better understanding of judging?
South African Bodyboarding Association Head Judge,
Marc "Rossi" Rossouw, will be holding International Bodyboarding Association Level 1 judging courses in
Cape Town and
Durban within the next month.
Once students have completed the course their names will go onto the IBA data base and they will be able to judge all levels of events, from schools and clubs to SABA events and once they have enough experience they will be eligable to judge at International level.
Rossi will be running these courses in
Cape Town on the
26th and
27th of
January 08 and in
Durban on the
16th and
17th of
February 08.
Cape Town course info:
Time: Saturday 26th Jan from 10 am - 4 pm
or
Sunday 27th Jan from 10 am - 4 pm
Fee: Free for WPBA members, R100 for non-members.
Venue: Seminar Room, Camps Bay High School.

If you're competing and have not done the course then I suggest that you get on it because you'll undoubtedly come up against someone who has. There is not a whole lot you can do about natural talent apart from practice, practice, practice ... but there are somethings you can make sure that you don't come short on and one of them is learning the rules of the game. |
