We called it Tombstones because of all the dry rock pinnacles that stick up out the water on the inside. the wave ends up breaking onto them and washing around like crazy. Then the wave reforms and closes out on another rock ledge... the kind of paddle out you wouldn't send your worst enemy on. But then again we have a boat and we like to use it... | |
