| First time I met Darrel was at an inter-schools contest ... sussed out this scrawny 14 year old and the rest of the riders in my heat and reckoned this one was definitely gonna be mine ... later in the heat I saw Darrel busting out on one of his waves as I paddled back out and I wasn't so sure about that ... turns out he milked the heat. A few years on ... and the boy is still giving it horns. | |
