let me put it this way before surfing this spot. It has a huge deep channell which seperates the 2 reefs. This channell is used by great whites as a know brreeding ground. Consevation officals go up there in April and May and count how many are in the chanell. And I have seen 2 great whites swimming next to each other in a swell there. Anther spear fisherman said that a shadow passed over him while hiding for fish down there. And you are really buggered if you get bitten there as there is no place to land a chopper! | |

ahh ha! i've surfed this place once. It has a mean offshore when everything else is onshore... quite a sick wave I agree!! | |
