There some waves up that way, worth while taking the board with, check out wavescape and the book on surf spots in South Africa, it also good diving up that way. Was there many years ago but speak to the locals and also google surfing cape vidal etc...

We went there, but unforunaltely neva had some waves. It was actually flat and only a shorebreak, big enough to break you neck . Also very dodgy as for sharks and other things. We are going camping in Sodwana in October, so I was just wondering hows the waves there? and if there are some proper surfspot in that area and if im not gonna be surfing alone.
