Shoutbox/chats

Ok, I've seen many sites with Shoutbox's or Chats. But still can't understand why Sixty40 doesn't have one. I mean, how cool wouldn't it be to chat to fellow boogers while we watch Contests over the web, just discussing a recent session or sharing things. Without using the forum. The possibilities are endless.

chat is kiff but sometimes chat boxes can kill forum activity especially if the forum is already quiet or small. just my 2 cents worth of experience helping mod my mates IT forum....

ye, but u can turn it off if it aint ur thing...
some like it... some dont... but lyle is right... the forum will be even more quiet then...

At this point the forum is dead, so if adding chat makes more people come onto and stay on the sixty40 site than why not?
